PRAY21 is 21 days of focused prayer and fasting at Vertical Tampa, August 8–28, 2026. We come together to seek God first and draw closer to Him as a church family.
Throughout the season, we gather for prayer, worship, and reflection. This time is designed for alignment, spiritual growth, and breakthrough—believing the insight and renewal God brings can be life-changing for individuals and our church.
As you prepare to fast, pray, listen to the Holy Spirit, and make a plan that honors both your faith and your health.
02 / The rhythm
Build a daily rhythm at home, then gather with your church family throughout the 21 days.
Gather with our church family for intentional mornings of prayer as we prepare our hearts and seek God together.
Close PRAY21 together with a powerful night of worship, prayer, and reflection on everything God has done.
04 / Types of fasts
Choose one fast or a combination over the 21 days. The goal is not performance—it is creating intentional space to hear from God.
Remove distractions such as social media, TV, or other non-food activities. This is a meaningful option when giving up food is not healthy for you.
Abstain from food for a dedicated period, relying on God for strength. Some may include water or light liquids where needed.
Remove specific foods or drinks such as coffee, sweets, or other favorites—or dedicate the time from one meal each day to prayer.
Abstain from food during chosen hours, such as sunrise to sunset, using the time you would normally eat to pray and focus on God.
If you have a health condition, are pregnant or nursing, take medication, or have a history of disordered eating, speak with a qualified medical professional before changing your diet.
